Hello! We are Emily and Alison, the sisters behind Bepa Studios
We come from a long line of artistic women and attribute our love for jewelry making to our mother who facilitated many beading and crafting adventures over the years. We spent many weekends exploring Byzantium (anyone else in Columbus remember?) for treasure and creating all kinds of beaded jewelry.
Bepa was created initially to raise funds after Emily’s dog Peppa became very ill and was hospitalized for several days in 2020 (he is doing great and thriving now!). We had so much fun coming up with designs, beading, working together and offering our creations that we’ve just kept going!

Emily
Emily is a multimedia artist working with glass and natural stone beads. She recently added metalsmithing to her skillset and will slowly begin offering a new collection of work. She also enjoys painting, baking and spending time with her dog Peppa.
In addition to her role as designer and beader at Bepa, Emily works as a massage therapist. You can find details about her massage business here.
